Olive Oil/ Garlic for Earache

by A.M.

The olive oil and garlic for earache works wonders, but be careful to strain the garlic really well so there's nothing but oil or liquid going into the ear. Even just rubbing the ear with the oil, especially for babies, works wonders. I figured out though that you can make it TOO STRONG with garlic as I put some in my own ear after using it for my toddler and it burned a little, which I think was due to the garlic. (or maybe it was just working!)

Garlic for earache

You can actually use plain garlic without the olive oil. But it makes sense to mix the two as I have heard of people having tremendous pain when using only the garlic, although I personally think they might have gotten a chunk of garlic in their ear or maybe it had busted or something. Regardless, next time I will mix olive oil with my well-strained garlic!
