I would DEFINITELY recommend trying the apple cider vinegar for warts remedy before the traditional freezing method.
This is one of the most popular wart home remedies with many success stories.
In
fact many have tried using acv for warts and gotten rid of them after
trying many of the other home remedies first, such as duct tape, canned
air ( which is freezing them) and garlic, with not much
success....So if you are one of them, the simple apple cider vinegar
trick may be just what you are looking for!
The Downside of Using ACV for Warts
The DOWN side of using the acv is that some people experience quite a bit of pain.
If you are afraid of trying the ACV for warts home remedy, for fear you may be the unlucky one to get stuck with pain for a few days, you may want to try these Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal remedies by Charles Davidson (see below), an alternative medical practitioner who compiled some of his best remedies in an ebook. In this 90 page e-book, Charles explains in easy to understand language how he has helped hundreds of people get TOTALLY rid of moles, warts and skin tags with his proven PAIN FREE method.
How to Use Apple Cider Vinegar for Warts
You will need three things:
Apple Cider Vinegar
Band Aid
Cotton balls
Every night before you go to bed, soak a cotton ball in the vinegar, apply it to the wart and hold it in place with the band-aid. It is best to keep the vinegar bandage on all the time, changing it every evening before going to bed, but it also works by having it on overnight. Do this for a week and then another couple days after the wart is gone. Your wart MAY become painful and swollen as the apple cider vinegar reacts with it. You can take a pain medication during this time if you need to. The pain can last a day or for as long as four days, but the wart should start turning black within a few days and if you keep the acv on the wart, it should be gone within a week. Important!...to make sure the wart doesn't come back, keep the vinegar treatment on it for a few days after it is COMPLETELY gone.
A Few Tips from folks that have used the Apple Cider Vinegar for Warts Home Remedy successfully:
Rinse the cotton ball off a bit with water, so the vinegar is a bit diluted. The pain isn't quite as severe that way.
"My wart was on my face so I couldn't wear a bandage to work, but I kept the vinegar on at night and within a week the wart was almost gone. I kept the vinegar on the wart for another couple weeks though and it totally disappeared."
If the pain keeps you awake at night, put the vinegar on during the day. Or take advil.
After the wart turns black and falls off, you will have a hollow in your skin. KEEP doing the acv for warts remedy as this will help to heal it completely. Keep the apple cider vinegar on the wart until the new skin forms.
After the wart has fallen off, use less vinegar on the cotton.
Before you buy another 'torture kit' ( OTC freezing kits from Amazon) try the ACV - it really DOES work!
