Have you tried TOOTHPASTE or HONEY for acne home remedies?
Sounds a bit absurd, but there are some common ingredients in our
cupboards or at our fingertips to use for acne remedies, if we just dare
give them a try. A great help in eliminating acne though, is to know
what CAUSES pimples in the first place.
Most of the time, the root cause of acne is improper eating habits.
If we are dealing with acne it is never too late to change the way we
eat, or WHAT we eat... If our daily diet consists of any of these, it
may be time to consider a healthier lifestyle!
Too much starchy foods
Too much sugar and sweets
Irregular eating patterns
Oily and fatty foods
Constipation
When we change our eating habits, we deal with the problem so that the acne will STAY AWAY once we chase it away with some Acne home remedies!
Avoid foods high in fat, caffeine, chocolate groan!, sugar and carbs, and increase intake of good foods like:
ALWAYS REMEMBER: YOU are way more conscious of your acne than anyone else is. What comes out of your inner man has much more impact than what is on your face!☺
Simple Acne Home Remedies
Yogurt and Oatmeal Paste... Make a paste by mixing natural unflavored yogurt and finely ground oatmeal.
Plaster on your face and leave on until it dries, then wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry with a towel.
After you're done , you can apply a good face lotion, or even an antibiotic lotion.
Baking Soda... mix baking soda and water to make a paste and apply directly to the acne. Let dry and then wash and pat dry for a great acne home remedy.
Aloe and Tea Paste...If you don't have an aloe vera plant, you can get them at places that sell plants, like Lowes, Walmart, etc.
Squeeze out some of the slimy stuff inside the leaves. (Just break off about a 2 in tip of one of the aloe vera spears and squeeze onto a plate) Then add some tea powder. ( Just open a green tea bag and use the loose leaves)
Mix together and apply to face then take a soft bristle toothbrush and LIGHTLY brush into your acne in circular motions.
Don't press hard on your face with the toothbrush.
Steaming your acne... get a tea kettle of water boiling hot....the kettle has to have a spout that will stay open
You can do this anywhere, but on the toilet with the seat down works great! Lay a towel across the seat of the toilet so you can set the tea kettle on it, then drape a big towel or sheet over yourself and the whole toilet area so that the steam is trapped inside. The steam opens up the pores on your face. Lean over the kettle as much as you can without getting so close that you burn your face! You want the spurt of steam directed at your face.
Take it as long as you can then pat dry your face.
Now take a cotton ball with alcohol or witchhazel and apply to all the acne. It may burn a bit and will leave you with a CLEAN face. Acne home remedies at it's cleanest! ☺
Honey and Cinnamon Paste for acne... Mix a paste of honey and cinnamon. (About a Tbs of cinn. to about 1/4 cup of honey)
Apply the honey mask to your face and sleep with it on. Next morning wash it off with warm water. This is a great STICKY but natural acne home remedy.
