Why I Built This Website
I am an average stay at home mom with five kids and wife to an amazing husband. (well, MOST of the time it's five, sometimes just two and other times nine or ten!)AND, I have been married to my best friend for over twenty years. ☺ Five are my own and they range in ages from 11 to 22. Actually my oldest is getting married this fall, so yahoo... grandbabies, maybe?? :)
But anyways, the whole reason for making this website or the MAIN reason besides liking to blog and write about really cool home remedies!... is so that I CAN be at home and be a mom to a houseful of kids. I have always been a STAY at home mom but not always a WORK at home mom, as my hubby made our income, but when the economy kinda went south a bit here in MT, I had to start looking for ways to help out more with income.
In all honesty, I have always done small things on the side to help buy groceries, but if I made something to sell like bread or crafts, I STILL had to go to farmers markets or somewhere to sell them. So it wasn't really contributing to my dream of staying at home with the kids. (Oh and I homeschooled for about 5 years as well) There is no way you can do both justice if you want to homeschool your kids and work a job away from home.
But things got tough and I HAD to find a job in town, so I had to give up homeschooling and send my kids to school. (They are doing great in school , by the way, so I left them there...)
In the meantime ...after scouring the internet for HOURS and losing a TON of money on work at home stuff...(and yes, I even tried mlm for about two years)i won't even TELL you how much money I wasted in trying to find something...but one day I stumbled across this system and I got started building these simple websites, and a dream was born. A dream that would allow me to stay at home with my family and STILL make decent money.
I chose the topic of home remedies to build this site on as that is something I love writing about - I just think it is so cool when I can avoid a Dr. bill by using a simple home remedy! :)
So anyways, if you are by any chance looking for something similar, here is how (and where) I got started. And no, I still don't know much about html coding...well, I've picked up some tips here and there)...but I still don't understand all the gibberage that geeks use when building a web page!
